Candidates Sought For Positions In GRAI.

Gambling

Candidates today are being urged to come forward to fill the roles of Chairperson and the six Ordinary Members positions, at the newly established Údarás Rialála Cearrbhachais na hÉireann [the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI)].

The GRAI is a new statutory body that will be responsible for the licensing and regulation of gambling in Ireland. Once established, it will focus on public safety and well-being – covering gambling online and in-person – and will have the power to regulate advertising, gambling websites and other applications (apps).

Historic legislation setting out the framework and legislative basis for the establishment of the GRAI passed both Houses of the Oireachtas earlier this month and has already been signed into law by President M.D.Higgins.

Closing date for applications is 3:00pm on Friday November 15th, 2024.
Applications for the roles can be found here at Public Jobs.ie.

Help Yourself.

Help Yourself.

Lyrics: Journalist, writer, songwriter, and spy-catcher (Spy identified Kim Philby), the late Jack Fishman (a.k.a. Larry Khan), 1920 – 1997.
Vocals: Welsh singer Tom Jones (Thomas John Woodward).

Help Yourself.

Love is like candy on a shelf,
You want to taste, then help yourself.
The sweetest things are there for you
Help yourself take a few,
That’s what I want you to do.
We’re always told repeatedly,
The very best in life is free,
And if you want to prove it’s true,
Baby, I’m telling you,
This is what you should do.
Just help yourself to my lips, to my arms,
Just say the word and they’re yours.
Just help yourself to the love in my heart,
Your smile has opened up the door.
The greatest wealth that exists in the world,
Could never buy what I can give.
Just help yourself to my lips, to my arms,
And then let’s really start to live.
Alright, (hahahaha, yeah).
My heart has love enough for two,
More than enough for me and you.
I’m rich with love, a millionaire,
I’ve so much, it’s unfair,
Why don’t you take a share.
Just help yourself to my lips, to my arms,
Just say the word and they’re yours.
Just help yourself to the love in my heart,
Your smile has opened up the door.
The greatest wealth that exists in the world,
Could never buy what I can give.
So help yourself to my lips, to my arms,
And then let’s really start to live.
Just help yourself to my lips, to my arms,
Just say the word and they’re yours.
Just help yourself to the love in my heart.

END.
