Death Of Christy Brennan Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 19th October 2024 of Mr Christopher (Christy) Brennan, No 1 Church View, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Harleypark, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Bridget, sister Joan and brothers Matty and baby John; Mr Brennan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, South Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Kathleen, daughters Helen and Elizabeth, grandchildren Alex, Nicole, Chloe, Kathlyn, Brandon and Callum, sisters Betty, Breda, Kathleen, Marian, Geraldine and Sally, brother Martin, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Brennan, will repose at Dermot Ronan’s Funeral Home, Ballingarry, Thurles, on Thursday afternoon, October 24th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church Of the Assumption Ballingarry, (SR), Thurles on Friday morning, October 25th, to further repose for Funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Tinnock, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Nora Hanrahan, Formerly Of Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 18th October 2024, of Mrs Nora Hanrahan (née Sullivan), Rocklands, Gracedieu, Waterford; late of the Shoe Centre, No.17 Patrick’s Street, Waterford and formerly of Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Hanrahan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Waterford; surrounded by her loving family,

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Michael, adoring nieces Josephine and Deirdre, nephews Terry and Liam, sisters-in-law Brid, Clare and Teresa, cousin Frances O’Brien, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Hanrahan will repose at her residence on Rocklands Gracedieu Road, Waterford (X91 F6K0) on Saturday afternoon, October 19th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Barronstrand Streey, Waterford, on Sunday October 20th at 12:00 noon, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Holycross Abbey graveyard, Holy Cross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 18th October 2024, of Mr Christopher (Bobby) Cooke, Ballynonty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Katie and Jack, brothers Pa, Tom and Johnny and sisters Hannie and Bridget; Mr Cooke passed away peacefully while at his place of residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Anne, sons James, Paul and Sean, daughters Catherine and Suzanne, brother Dick, sisters Kathleen, Marie and Maggie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 18th October 2024 of Mrs Martha O’Brien (née Moloney), No.39 Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Noel; Mrs O’Brien passed away, while in the care of staff of Med 4, Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and the Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Karl and John, daughter Margaret, brothers Liam and Michael, sister Phil, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of William Purcell, Formerly Loughmore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 18th October 2024, of Mr William Purcell Cork City, Co. Cork and formerly of Loughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Purcell passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, while in the care of staff at Ward 4C, Cork University Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his beloved partner Mary Dow, son Martin, brothers Tom, Pat, Sean, Martin and sister Peggy; the passing of MR Purcell is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughter Christina and son Billy, niece Teresa, grandchildren Sean, Kieran, great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Harley, Evie and Dylan, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brothers Jimmy, Michael and sisters Phil, Hannah and Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and great friends.

Requiem Mass for Mr Purcell, will be celebrated on Wednesday morning October 23rd, at St Finbarr’s South Church, Dunbar Street, Ballintemple, Cork, (T12 X21) at 11:00am, followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
