Death Of Alice Hogan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 12th December 2024, of Mrs Alice Hogan (née Curran), Parnell Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Hogan passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons JJ, John and Paul, daughters Margaret and Aileen, sons and daughters-in law, sisters and brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, extended relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends, (including the excellent staff at Noel Ryan’s Pub).

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Hogan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday evening, December 14th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Sunday morning, December 15th, at 10:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 12th December 2024, of Mr Paddy Coman, Coldfields, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Eileen, brothers Jimmy, John, Justin and Joe, his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughter Jacinta, sons Stephen, Patrick and Tomás, grandchildren Grace, Rachel, Darragh, Ciarán, Shane, Killian, Zara and Olivia, daughters-in-law Fiona, Kathleen and Juliet, son-in-law Joe, sister Mary (Cummins), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

The remains of Mr Coman will be received into the Church of St James, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles on Monday morning, December 16th at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in nearby Two-Mile-Borris Cemetery, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Carmel Keane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 11th December 2024, of Mrs Carmel Keane (née McCarthy), Kennedy Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 88th year and pre-deceased by her husband Larry, brothers and sisters: Mrs Keane passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at St Theresa’s Nursing Home, Dublin Road, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing and devoted family; daughter Carol, son-in-law Noel (McGuigan), grandson Shane, sister Laura (O’Brien), nephews, nieces, brother-in-law Jack, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 10th December 2024, of Mr Eddie Olden, Cabragh Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Blackrock, Co. Cork.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Margot, brothers John, Dan and Tom, sister Dina, sister-in-law Maura and brother-in-law Robert; Mr Olden passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Four Fern’s Nursing Home, Brighton Rd, Foxrock, Co. Dublin.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughters Susan, Nodlaig and Julie, sons-in-law Mark, Neil and Paul, grandchildren Helen, Amy, Kate, Jack, Alma and Orla, sisters-in-law Maura, Ann, Nodlaig and Ruth, brothers-in-law Michael and John, nephews, nieces, wonderful friends and neighbours.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 10th December 2024, of Mr Jody Mulcaire, Ballinree, Boherlahan, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Iona Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Joe and Dinah, sisters Marian and Suzanne, nephew Steven, niece Christina, mother-in-law Mary (Fahey) and brother-in-law Denis; Mr Mulcaire passed away unexpectedly, while in the care of staff at the ICU Ward, Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Jacinta, daughter Ciara, son Dean, brothers Michael and Billy, sisters Breda and Margaret, father-in-law Tommy Fahey, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.
