It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 13th December 2024, of Mrs Peggy (Peig) Ryan (née Heaphy), Abbey View Villas, Dundrum Road, Tipperary Town, Co. Tipperary and late of Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents James and Anne, her baby sister Mary and sister Lilly; the passing of Mrs Ryan is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Donal, son John, daughter-in-law Hillary, sister Bridget, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Whelan’s Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Knockanrawley, Tipperary Town, Co. Tipperary, on Monday afternoon from 5:30pm until 7:00pm same evening. Her remains will be received into the Church of St Michael, St Michael’s Street, Carrownreddy, Tipperary town, on Tuesday December 17th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 1:00pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Ballingarry Old Church graveyard, Ballingarry Lower, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 86th year; predeceased by her husband Jimmy, sister Maura (Hyland), brothers Patrick and Matty. Mrs Cahill passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; nieces Breeda, Mary, Aileen, Catherine and Jillian, grand-nieces Molly, Lily, Ellen, Anna, Caitlin, Sarah and Emily, grand-nephews Dermot, James, Joseph, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
