Death Of Martha O’Brien, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 18th October 2024 of Mrs Martha O’Brien (née Moloney), No.39 Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Noel; Mrs O’Brien passed away, while in the care of staff of Med 4, Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and the Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Karl and John, daughter Margaret, brothers Liam and Michael, sister Phil, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Brien will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles on tomorrow afternoon, Sunday October 20th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Monday morning, October 21st at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of William Purcell, Formerly Loughmore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 18th October 2024, of Mr William Purcell Cork City, Co. Cork and formerly of Loughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Purcell passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, while in the care of staff at Ward 4C, Cork University Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his beloved partner Mary Dow, son Martin, brothers Tom, Pat, Sean, Martin and sister Peggy; the passing of MR Purcell is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughter Christina and son Billy, niece Teresa, grandchildren Sean, Kieran, great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Harley, Evie and Dylan, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brothers Jimmy, Michael and sisters Phil, Hannah and Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and great friends.

Requiem Mass for Mr Purcell, will be celebrated on Wednesday morning October 23rd, at St Finbarr’s South Church, Dunbar Street, Ballintemple, Cork, (T12 X21) at 11:00am, followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 17th October 2024, of Ms Joan O’Dwyer, Cluain na Seimre, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her partner George, parents Nancy (née Woodlock) and Sean, and her sister Rita; Ms O’Dwyer passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Waterford Hospice, following a short illness most bravely borne; surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Tony and Richie, step-sons Paul and Brian, daughters-in-law Amy, Cáit and Rachel, grandson Finlay, best friend Monica and her son Sean, brothers Michael, John and Kieran, sisters Sinead and Anne, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncle Liam, aunt Bernie, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 14th October 2024, of Mrs Moira Kenneally (née Maher) Middlewalk, Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballynonty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved parents Mary and Richard Maher and her brother Jackie; Mrs Kenneally passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at University Hospital Limerick.

Pre-deceased by her father Patrick, brother Patsy, sister Margaret and her nieces Katie and Rebecca; Ms Ryan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff of St Vincent’s Centre, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; mother Peggy, sisters Kathleen, Breda, and Esther, brothers Tommy, Timmy and Larry, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces and the staff and her friends at St. Vincent’s Centre, Lisnagry, Limerick.
