Death Of Martin O’Gorman, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 1st November 2024, of Mr Martin O’Gorman, Hazelwood, Dublin Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Athnid, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Edna and Patrick, sisters Patricia, Mona, Angela and Celine (August 2024), brothers Fr John and Michael; Mr O’Gorman passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sister Sr Edna MMM, brothers Noel and Fintan, sisters-in-law Anna, Barbara-Anne and Frances (latter whose constant care was of great support to Mr O’Gorman), extended relatives, very kind neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Gorman will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday afternoon, November 5th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Wednesday morning, November 6th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Catherine Kennedy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 2nd November 2024 of Mrs Catherine Kennedy (née O’Neill), Tobins Cross, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Monadreen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her father Hugh; Mrs Kennedy passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness, most bravely borne.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Seamus, sons Hugh, James and John, mother Bridie, brother Hugh, sisters Mary, Evelyn and Marian, daughters-in-law Shona and Ally, grandchildren Norah and Olivia, good friend Joan (O’Keeffe), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours, friends, and colleagues in KOS Ergonomics.

The earthly remains of Mrs Kennedy will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow afternoon, Sunday November 3rd, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey, Holycross, Thurles, at 11:00am on Monday morning next, November 4th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Ballycahill Cemetery, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 1st November 2024, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) Fogarty (née Butler), Parnell Street, Thurles and formerly of Mountalt, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Tommy, sister Eileen (Lonergan), nephews Martin (McCarthy) and Joe (Butler), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; Mrs Fogarty passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff of Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, following a long illness most bravely borne.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; Edel (Mahony), Tom, Colm, Patricia (Quinn), Assumpta and Gerard, sons-in-law Keith and Richard, daughters-in-law Hilda and Ann, her five grandchildren Ben, Emma, Tommy, Conor and Ricky to whom she was devoted, sister Mary (McCarthy), brothers JP and Austin, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, kind neighbours, cherished good friends and treasured customers of Fogarty’s shop.

Death Of Mary Grennan, Cloneen, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 29th October 2024 of Mrs Mary Grennan (née McGrath), Glasnevin, Dublin and formerly of Cloneen, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Joseph and Baby Niall; Mrs Grennan passed away peacefully while in the tender care of the staff at Elmgreen Nursing Home.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughters Ailish, Elizabeth and Mercedes, son James, sons-in-law Maurice, Charles and Trevor, daughter-in-law Susan, grandchildren Gerard, James, Cathal, Seamus, Ciarán, Lisa, Conor, Joe, Daniel and Adam and great grandchildren Roisin, Aoife, Sophia and Isabelle, sister-in law Anna, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Tom Hayes, Formerly Of Loughmore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 29th October 2024, of Mr Tom Hayes, Killistafford, Cashel, Tipperary and formerly of ‘The Little Road’, Loughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his brother Billy and sisters Mary (Carew) and Bridget (O’Donnell); Mr Hayes passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Chris, sons Martin and Enda, daughters Sorcha and Niamh, cherished grandchildren Molly, Ellen, Chloe and Macdara (Latter who affectionately knew him as TomTom), sister Sadie, daughters-in-law Dee and Sally, sons-in-law Liam and Joe, nieces Teresa and Sinéad, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and faithful friends both in Cashel and Loughmore, Co. Tipperary.

His remains will be received into the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, Rathclogh North, Dualla, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Thursday morning, October 31st at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
