Death Of Nicky Irwin, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 11th November 2024, of Mr Nicholas (Nicky) Irwin, Sycamore Cottage, The Village, Holycross, Thurles Co. Tipperary and Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his uncle Fr Nicholas, grandparents Nick (Irwin) and Paud and Recie (Delahunty); Mr Irwin sadly passed away unexpectedly.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; parents Ted and Joan (née Delahunty), sisters Trish, Liz and Joan, brothers Timmy and John, their partners John, Dan and Áine, nieces Shannen, Samantha and Leah, nephews Seán óg and Theodore, nanny Irwin, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Irwin will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday afternoon next, November 15th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey, Holycross, Thurles, on Saturday morning, November 16th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Bridie Crudden, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 11th November 2024, of Mrs Bridie Crudden (née Prunty), No. 145 Carrowshee Park, Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Vincent and Teresa, son Kevin; Mrs Crudden passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; Eamon (Annette), Gerard (Stephanie), Sinead (Eddie), and Katie (Sean) and their father Gerry, grandchildren Tasha, Ruby, Adam, Kevin, Mollie, Mia and Gearόid, brothers Mark, Jackie, Paddy and Vincent, sisters Chrissie, Margaret, Mary, Anne, Kate, Bernie, Una, Rita, and Joan, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Crudden will repose at her home tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday November 12th, from 1:00pm until 8:00pm, same evening.
Her funeral cortège will leave her family residence on Wednesday morning, November 13th, at 10:30am to be received into the Church of the Holy Cross, 24 Knocks Road, Lisnaskea, Enniskillen (BT92 0FL), United Kingdom to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Joan O’Halloran, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Sunday 10th November 2024, of Mrs Joan O’Halloran (née Hanrahan), Corbally, Drangan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Eamon, much loved son Liam, her brothers and sisters; Mrs O’Halloran passed away peacefully, in her 97th year, while in the loving care of her family, at her home in Corbally, Drangan.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Michael, Noel and Paul, adored grandchildren Niamh, Aoife, Niall and Brian, daughters-in-law Annette and Deirdre, extended relatives, neighbours, friends, and all those within the wider community, whom she served for over 60 years, from behind the counter at ‘The Corner House shop’.

From her home in Corbally, Drangan, the remains of Mrs O’Halloran will be received into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newtowndrangan, Drangan, Thurles (E41 YD73) on Wednesday morning, November 13th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 9th November 2024, of Mr Patrick (Paddy) Kelly, Church Street, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The passing of Mr Kelly is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his wife Josie, devoted children Jean, Susan, Brian, Liam, Paul, David, Annmarie and Elaine, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Annie, his brothers Fintan and Liam; the passing of Mr Russell is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family, brother Pat, sisters Sr Josephine (H.R.S. Killeshandra and Cameroon), and Sr Evelyn (Presentation Convent Thurles), niece Roisín, nephew-in-law Brian, grandnephews Louis and Ellis, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends

Requiem Mass for Mr Russell will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the Old Cemetery, Drom, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
