It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Sunday 22nd September 2024, of Mr William (Willie) Cleere, No 1. The Rocky, The Commons, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Cleere passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny.
Pre-deceased by his parents Tady and Nancy, his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; Joan, Michael, Ann, Marion, Timmy, Martina and Lizzy, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Cleere will repose at Dermot Ronan’s Funeral Home, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles on Tuesday afternoon, September 24th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption Ballingarry (SR), Thurles on Wednesday morning to further repose for Funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 21st September 2024, of Mrs Anne Corbett (née Hennelly), Rosemount, Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Toreen, Partry, Ballynanerroon Beg, Co. Mayo.
In her 96th year and predeceased by her husband Jackie, son Michael Joseph, sisters Mary, Peg and Bridie, brothers John, Bill, Paddy, Mick and Davey, Mrs Corbett passed away peacefully in her place of residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons John and Timmy, daughters Margaret and Bridget, sister Sarah (Sadie), grandchildren John, Karen, Michelle, Jack, Dylan, Michael, David and Conor, daughters-in-law Jacqueline and Geraldine, son-in-law Pius, brother-in-law Danny, sister-in-law Margaret, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends

Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Wednesday morning, September 25th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband John, sisters Breda (Ryan), Ann (Harrington) and Mary (Corbett), brothers Paddy, Jimmy and Sonny, son-in-law Kieran; Mrs Gormley passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles and Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, South Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Pat, Denis and John, daughter Caroline (Connors), grandchildren Laura, Fiona, David, Megan, Conor, Liam, Paul, Emma and Michael, great-grandchildren Arlo and Oscar, daughters-in-law Mary, Siobhan and Mary, sisters Teresa (Rohan) and Christina (O’Meara), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Martin and Fr Kevin, sisters-in-law Greta, Nora, Breda and Chris, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 18th September 2024, of Mr Paul Scally, Cabra, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Oscar Terrace, Kickham Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Rita, sister Bridgie and infant brother Michael; Mr Scally passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness, most bravely borne.
