It was with great sadness that we learned of the death,yesterday, Wednesday 5th February 2025, of Mr Richard Needham, Ballinacloughy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his baby son Richard, parents Val and Josie; Mr Needham passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at the Oak Ward, University Hospital, Waterford, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Ann, sons Val, Laurence and Andrew, brothers Tom and Val, sisters Carmel and Breda, grandson Patrick, aunt Evelyn, daughters-in-law Kim and Claire, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Needham will repose at St Michael’s Church Mortuary, Kickham Street, Mullinahone, Thurles, (E41 EW94) on Saturday afternoon, February 8th, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm, followed by Mass and Vigil Prayers at 6:00pm same evening Requiem Mass for Mr Needham will be celebrated on Sunday, February 9th, in St Michael’s Church, Mullinahone, Kickham St, Mullinahone, Thurles Co. Tipperary at 12:00 noon, followed by a Service of Cremation at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, at 4:00pm on Monday afternoon, February 10th next.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 1st February 2025 of Mrs Joan O’Toole (née Heery), Shanbally, Rearcross, Co.Tipperary and formerly of Templemore, Co. Tipperary and University Hospital Limerick.
Predeceased by her husband Michael; Mrs O’Toole passed away peacefully at Milford Care Centre.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughters Michelle and Aisling, son Niall and partner Amy, sons-in-law Gary and T.J., granddaughter Éabha, the Heery and O’Toole families, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tipperary, on Monday afternoon, February 3rd, from 5:30pm until 8:00pm, before being received same evening into the Church of Our Lady of Visitation, Rearcross, Co. Tipperary. Requiem Mass for Mrs O’Toole will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 4th, at 12:00 noon, followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (V14 PV30) at 3:00pm.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 28th January 2025 of Mr Norman Evans, Wolfe Tone Street, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny, formerly of Ballingarry South Riding, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Salford, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom.
Mr Evans passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Archersrath Nursing Home, Co. Kilkenny.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family;son Stuart, daughters Helen, Jackie, Kimberly and Emma, brother Geoff and his wife Sheila, niece Nicola, nephew Simon, grandchildren Zach, Shane, Eden, Lewis, Shannon, Caydan, Kyron, Poppy Mae and Ronnie Jay, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 1st November 2024 last of Ms Margaret Johanna Cosgrave late of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA and formerly of Borrisnoe, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Tom and Chris and her nephew Martin; sadly Ms Cosgrave passed away suddenly at her place of ordinary residence, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; brother Michael, sister Catherine Egan (UK), sister-in-law Anne, her nieces and nephews Kate, Mairead, Aine, Tom, Michael and Mary, aunt Elanor Kennedy (Newtown), cousins, extended relatives, good neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Ms Cosgrave; in accordance with her wishes; has already reposed for Requiem Mass in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which was followed by a Cremation Service.
A Memorial Mass for Ms Cosgrave will now take place on Saturday next, February 1st, 2025, (St Brigid’s Day), at 12:00 noon, in the Church of St Brigid, Clonakenny, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, (E53 XP70), followed, immediately afterwards, by the interment of her ashes in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, of Mrs Catherine (Delaney) Sullivan, of Wayne, Pennsylvania USA and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.
Pre-deceased by her parents John and Catherine (McCarthy) Delaney, brother Sean Delaney and sisters Breeda Delaney and Josephine Kelly; Mrs Sullivan (born on August 24th, 1934 the eldest of five children and a graduate of the Presentation Convent School in Thurles), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, following a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Tom; her children Catherine Sullivan McLaughlin (husband John) of Newtown Square, PA, and Michael R. Sullivan (wife Amy) of Old Greenwich, CT; six grandchildren, Matthew J. Sullivan, Abigail M. Sullivan, Catherine M. (Thomas) Trankle, Elizabeth C. McLaughlin, John T. McLaughlin, and Clare A. McLaughlin.
