Thurles Club for Dancing To Feature On RTE’s Nationwide

The ever-popular RTE team from ‘Nationwide‘ will be in ‘The Premier Ballroom‘ Thurles on Sunday 28th of November to film dance action from ‘The Club for Dancing’.

Incidentally, to demonstrate how popular the Thurles Club for Dancing really is, the club will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary during the month of February, next year. So congrats to all responsible for keeping the club so alive and popular.

To celebrate Nationwide’s visit the club is organising a free dance class at 3.00pm sharp on that aforementioned Sunday afternoon, also in The Premier Ballroom, which has been their home since conception.  Anyone over 18 years of age is welcome to attend and a very special invitation is being extended to anyone who has attended their numerous successful dance classes over the past number of years. (You never know we might see you on the telly.)

A dance will be held that night from 9.00 pm to 12.00 midnight.  Dance music on the night will be provided by the ever popular ‘Dave Rae‘ and the admission charge for anyone attending before 9.15 pm will be €5.00    The admission charge increases after 9.15 pm to €7.00, so keep this in mind during these recessionary times.

The Nationwide programme will be shown on RTE sometime in January, so keep an eye on this site for a more detailed update.
