Death Of Peggy Courtney, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Sunday 27th October 2024, of Mrs Peggy Courtney (née Maher), ‘Teach Garbh Coil’, Dualla Road, Cashel, Co.Tipperary; formerly of ‘Copperfield House’, Boherclough, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and Saulsquarter, Killough, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Mick and son James; Mrs Courtney passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughter Josephine (Devitt), sons Michael, Andrew and Nicholas, son-in-law Liam, daughters-in-law Maureen, Dolores and Jeanne, grandchildren Conor, Clodagh, Shane, Michael, Ronan, Killian, Mollie, Jasmine and Jack, great-grandson John, brothers Timmy and Matty, sisters Mary (Hennessy), Joan (Quigley), Diana (Dwyer), Anne (Farmer) and Eileen (Rush), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Courtney will repose at her residence on Tuesday afternoon next, October 29th, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St John the Baptist, Friar Street, Cashel on Wednesday October 30th, at 12:00 noon, to further repose for Requiem Mass followed by interment immediately afterwards in Cormac’s Cemetery, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
