It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 31st July 2024 of Mrs Ellen (Nellie) Cronin (née Pollard), Irishtown, Co. Mayo and formerly of Manchester, England and Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Mikey and Mary, sister Mamie and grandson Seán: Mrs Cronin passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Mayo Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; her husband Tom, sons Gerard (Cappataggle, Galway), Michael (Partry, Mayo), daughter Tricia Huane (Irishtown, Mayo), daughters-in-law Tina and Lil, son-in-law John, grandchildren Niall, John, Áine, Declan, Cathal, Niamh and Dara, great-grand-grandsons Ollie and Alfie, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends both near and far.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Cronin will repose at Carey’s Funeral Home, Ballindine East, Co. Mayo (F12A3C6) on tomorrow evening, Friday August 2nd, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Her remains will arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Ballinvilla, Irishtown, Co. Mayo on Saturday morning to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Irishtown Cemetery, Ballinvilla, Irishtown, Co. Mayo.
