It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 24th July 2024, of Mrs Margaret (Peggy) Bannon (Twiggy) (née Ryan), Clareen, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Golden Road, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Martin, brother Austin and sister Ramona; Mrs Bannon passed away peacefully, following a short illness most bravely born, while resident at her daughters home in Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughter Joanne, grandsons Martin, John and Leo, son-in-law Sean (Cleere), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, carer Bridget, former customers of Bannon’s Pub, great neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Bannon will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Thursday afternoon, July 25th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St Cataldus Church, Ballycahill, Thurles, on Friday morning, July 26th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Ballycahill Cemetery, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
