It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 12th June 2024, of Mrs Marie Murphy (née Colgan), Glanduff, Curreeney, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Ballyfermot, Co. Dublin.
Pre-deceased by her parents John and Bridget, sister Betty and grandchildren Bobby and Briona; Mrs Murphy passed away suddenly following a short illness while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Limerick, surrounded by her family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; her heartbroken husband Pat, daughter Annmarie and son John, grandchildren Darragh, Cian, Grace, Apo, Petra, Catalina and Tony, great grandchild Mia, brothers Ben, Danny and Seán, son-in-law Tos, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, great neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Murphy will repose on Saturday afternoon at J & S McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon Cross, Thurles from 5:00pm until 8:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of the Little Flower, Curreeny, Lacken, Co. Tipperary on Sunday at 12:00 noon, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
