Death Of Kitty Curran, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 30th May 2024, of Mrs Kathleen (Kitty) Curran (née Whelan), Cabragh Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Seskin, Kilsheelan, Co Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Bridget and Johnny; Mrs Curran passed away peacefully following a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Billy, daughter Sinéad, sons Ken and Shane, grandchildren Killian, Ben, Nell and Milo, great-grandchildren Tadhg and Naínsí son-in-law Stephen, daughters-in-law Tori and Elma, brothers Jimmy and Willie, sister Maureen (Smythe, Ennis), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Curran will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday afternoon, June 2nd from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Monday morning, June 3rd, at 10:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Holycross Abbey graveyard, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
