Death Of John Small, Late Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 16th April 2024, of Mr John Small, Dublin 9, Co. Dublin and late of Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Small passed away suddenly; but peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Eccles St, Phibsborough, Dublin 7, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his son Declan; the passing of Mr Small is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Mary, son Ger, grandchildren John jnr., Catherine, Patrick, Caoimhe and Dearbhla, and great-grandchild Charlie. daughter-in-law Andrea, son-in-law Ciaran, brothers Joe, Tom, Martin, sister Rita, sisters-in-law, Mary, Marie, Peggy and Joan, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours, former work colleagues and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Small, will repose in Lanigan’s Funeral Home, No.21 Beaumont Road, Beaumont, Dublin 9, (D09 VW90) on Thursday afternoon, April 18th, from 3:30pm until 5.30pm.
His remains will be received into the nearby Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, The Thatch Rd, Whitehall, Dublin 9, (D09 HX99) on Friday morning, April 19th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:30am, followed by a cremation service in Glasnevin crematorium, Old Finglas Rd, Glasnevin, Dublin, 11.
