It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 30th March 2024, of Mr Martin Maher, Kilnamanagh, Athlone, Roscommon; Athlone, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Martin and Julia, and his sister Bernie; Mr Maher passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Roscommon Hospice.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his heartbroken wife Pauline and son Cian, sisters Mary (Hawkes), Kitty (Keane), and Teresa (Everard), brothers Tom, Dinny, Paddy and Joe, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Maher will repose on Tuesday evening, April 2nd, at Flynn’s Funeral Home Weirview, The Strand, Loughanaskin, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, (N37 E6K0), from 6:30pm until 8:00pm.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon, April 3rd, in the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Barrack St, Ranelagh, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, at 12.30pm followed, immediately afterwards, by interment in Drum Cemetery, Curryroe, Drum, Co. Roscommon.
