It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 14th March 2024 of Mrs Anna Ryan (née McCarthy), The Bungalow, Fertianna, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
In her 91st year and pre-deceased by her husband Davy, her daughter Marian, twin sister Maura, sister Kathleen and daughter-in-law Angela; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.
Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; sons Michael, Johnny, Murt and Gerry, grandchildren Noreen, Eoin, Saoirse, Ceire, Meabh, Kate-Anna and Conor, great-grandchildren Shay, Rían Grace and Harry, daughter-in-law Maura, son-in-law Steve, nephew Brian, Gavin, Emma, Brigid, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday afternoon, March 17th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm before being received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey at Holycross, Thurles, at 8:00pm same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Ryan will be celebrated on Monday morning, March 18th, at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
