It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 31st December 2023 of Mr James (Jimmy) Hayes, Sportsfield, Bohernanave, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents William and Mary (née Laffin); Mr Hayes sadly passed away suddenly at his place of residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family; brother William (Billy), sister Mary (Healy), niece Lisa-Marie, nephews Damien and Paul, brother-in-law Brendan, cousins especially the Hayes family (Cassestown) and Laffin family (Castleiney) extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Hayes will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow afternoon, Thursday January 4th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Friday morning, January 5th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass 11:00am, followed by Private Cremation.
