Death Of Bríd O’Dwyer, Thurles, Co.Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 23rd March 2023, of Mrs Bríd O’Dwyer (née Maher), Avalon, Clongour, Thurles, Co.Tipperary and formerly of the Furze, Cassestown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 93rd year and predeceased by her husband Donal, sisters Frances and Maura, brothers John-Joe, Noel, Martin and Brendan, baby sisters Carmel and Angela; Mrs O’Dwyer passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at the Blackrock Clinic, Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; her daughter Ellie, son Donal, grandchildren Niamh and Ciaran, daughter-in-law Nikki, sisters Mona (Kinane), Bernie (Barnaville) and Mairead (Murray), brother Mattie, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Mary and Sheila, brothers-in-law Johnny and Mike, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Dwyer will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Sunday afternoon, March 26th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm same evening, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 7:45pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, March 27th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
