It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Monday 11th July 2022, of Mrs Johanna (Joan) Purcell (née Doyle), Robin Hill, Cormackstown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Jimmy and Dolores (Lolly); Mrs Purcell sadly passed away unexpectedly at her place of residence.
Her passing is most lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her heartbroken family; husband Noel, sons Shane, Cathal and David, daughter Lucia, grand-daughter Ava, daughter-in-law Rachel, Lucia’s partner Joe, sister Gemma, brother Richard, nephews James, Aron and Ben, nieces Caoimhe and Katie, brothers-in-law Matt and Alan, sisters-in-law Hannah, Katriona and Andrena, uncle Michael, aunts Margaret, Mary and Olive, cousins, former nursing colleagues, extended relatives, neighbours and many close friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Purcell will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday evening next, July 15th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her body will be received into the Medieval Monastery Church, at Holycross, Thurles; arriving on Saturday morning, July 16th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mrs Purcell, but due to distance or ill health are unable to do so; same can be viewed online HERE.
