It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Saturday 2nd July 2022, of Mr Richard (Dick) Delaney, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
In his 91st year; Mr Delaney passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at University Hospital Limerick, (Previously in the care of staff at Caherass Nursing Home, Croom, Co. Limerick).
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Hilda, his daughters Catherine, Margaret (Loughlin), Hilda (Hanley) Anne (O’Neill) and son Joseph, sons-in-law Bernard, Tim and Mike, brothers Michael and Tom, sister Kathleen, grandchildren Billie, James, Michael, Sarah, Ayla and Mairead and husband Kieran, brother-in-law Junie, extended relatives, kind neighbours, carers and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Delaney will repose at O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary from 6:00pm to 8:00 on Tuesday evening next, July 5th.
Requirm Mass will be celebrated in the Catholic Church of St. Oliver and Irish Martyrs, St. Oliver’s Square, Elm Park, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, at 11:30am on Wednesday morning; followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
