It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death today, Thursday, 26th May, 2022, of Mr Paddy Gooney, Aughnagomaun, Horse and Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Gooney passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Cluain Arann Welfare Home & Community Nursing Unit, Gortavalla, Tipperary Town.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his brother James, (Ballylooby, Cahir), extended relatives, neighbours, Jim and Denise and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Gooney will repose at Lonergan’s Funeral Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary on Saturday evening, May 28th, from 5:00pm–7:30pm.
On Sunday, May 29th, his body will be received into the Church of St.John the Baptist, Cashel Co. Tipperary, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed immediately afterwards by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
