It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death today, Monday 11th April 2022 of Mrs Joan O’Mahony (née Ryan), No.5 Collins Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Seamus, daughter Mary, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Linda; Mrs O’Mahony passed away peacefully at her place of residence, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; sons Seamus, Joseph, Paddy, Michael, Liam and Brian, daughters Ann, Elizabeth, Siobhan, Peggy, Kay, Martina and Una, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, good neighbours and great friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs O’Mahony will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Wednesday evening next, April 13th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bothar na Naomh, Thurles at 8:00pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning, April 14th, at 10:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs O’Mahony, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.
[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
