It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today, Sunday 27th February 2022, of Ms Maureen Costello, ‘Avalon’, Lisduff, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her brother Willie and sister Kitty; Ms Costello passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, while in her 99th year.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sister Chris, sister-in-law Josephine, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, carers and a close circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms Costello will repose at Doyles Funeral Home, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny, on Monday evening, February 28th, from 5:30pm until 7:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe, Co. Tipperary on Tuesday morning, March 1st, to arrive for Requiem Mass 11:30am, followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Churchyard, Graine, Woodsgift, Co. Kilkenny.
