It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 16th February 2022, of Mrs Margaret Ann Hanly (née Corcoran), Ikerrin Court, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Glenbreeda, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Jim and sister Theresa; Mrs Hanly passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at St. Theresa’s Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters Eileen, Mary and Lil, brothers Michael, Fr. Jim and Fr. Tim (both Perth Australia), nephews John and Matt, nieces Catherine and Mary, sister-in-law Ann, brother-in-law Jim, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Hanly will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Monday evening, February 21st, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 7:45pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday morning, February 22nd, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Hanly but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.
[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
