It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Wednesday 24th November 2021, of Mrs Maura Hegney (née English), No.10 Collins Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Garryclogher, Cahir, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Joe and brother Willie; Mrs Hegney passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness most bravely borne.
Her passing is most sadly missed by her heartbroken family; son Shay, daughters Maria (Carroll), Caroline (Loughnane) and Annette (Dowling), grandchildren Hazel, Tima, Jack, Dan, Kayleigh, Emily, Holly and Mila, daughters-in-law Masha, sons-in-law Tony, Sheas and Michael, sisters Margaret and Helen, brothers Jimmy and Michael, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Hegney will repose at her residence (No.10 Collins Park, Thurles) on Friday afternoon, November 26th, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Joseph & St. Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles on Saturday morning, November 27th, at 9.30am; to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am.
Interment will follow immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
