It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 18th November 2021, of Mr Michael O’Dowd, Rossestown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his sisters Mary, Josie, Kathleen, Margaret, Janie and Bridget; Mr O’Dowd sadly passed away, while in the care of staff at Limerick University Hospital.
His passing is most sadly missed by his loving wife Noreen, daughters Eileen, Lisa and Emma, son Mark, sons-in-law Davy, Michael and Paul, daughter-in-law Ciara, brother Pakie, sister Eileen, grandchildren, great-grandson, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, colleagues in Tipperary County Council, neighbours and many good friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr O’Dowd will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles on tomorrow evening Friday, November 19th from 5:00p.m. to 6:30p.m. for family and close friends.
His body will be received into the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bohernanave, Thurles on Saturday morning at 9:30a.m. to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00a.m., followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr O’Dowd, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.
