It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 13th November 2021, of Mr Gerry D’Arcy, ‘The Commonage’, Ciamaltha Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Iona Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr D’Arcy passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at University Hospital Limerick.
In accordance with his wishes, his body has been donated to medical research.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, sons Garrett and Gavin, daughters Eithne and Maeve, brother Sean, daughter-in-law Becky, Gavin’s partner Siobhán, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

A Memorial Mass for Mr D’Arcy will take place on Tuesday afternoon, November 16th, at 2:00pm, in St. Mary of the Rosary Church, No.6 Church Road, Nenagh North, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the Memorial Mass for Mr D’Arcy, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; Requiem Mass can be viewed online HERE
