It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Friday 12th November 2021, of Mrs Bridget Ryan (née O’Dowd), Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully after a short illness, most bravely borne, while in the care of staff in the high dependency unit of Limerick University Hospital.
Predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Janie, Josie, Mary and Kathleen; her passing is sadly missed by her loving family; devoted husband Liam, daughters Gillian (Gleeson), Norma (Fahey) and Cáit, son Richard, grandchildren Jack, Katelyn, Ryan, Liam, Callum, Rachel and Aoife, sons-in-law Conor and John, daughter-in-law Caroline, sister Eileen (Bourke), brothers Pakie and Michael, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will reposing at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow evening, Saturday, November 13th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her body will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Sunday morning, November 14th, at 10.30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mrs Ryan, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; funeral Mass can be viewed online HERE.
