It is with the deepest regret that we learned of the death, today Thursday 5th August 2021, of Mrs Anne Duggan (née O’Sullivan), Ardeen Nursing Home, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Main Street, Newport, Co. Tipperary.
Former proprietor and matron of Ardeen Nursing Home and pre-deceased by her husband Paddy, daughter Louise and son Frank; Mrs Duggan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends, while under the care of staff of Ardeen Nursing Home.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; daughters Deirdre, Anne Marie, Aisling and Petrina, grandchildren Gillian, Sarah, Robert, Philip, George and Audrey, great-grandson Senan, sons-in-law Geoff and Paul, daughter-in-law Noelette, sister-in-law Mary (O’ Sullivan), nephews, nieces, extended relatives, former colleagues and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The funeral cortège, bearing the earthly remains of Mrs Duggan, will leave Ardeen Nursing Home, Thurles on Saturday morning, August 7th at 10:15am, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 10:30am to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mrs Duggan, but are unable to do so, due to current coronavirus pandemic restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.
[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending (limited to 50 mourners) will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
