It was with the deepest regret that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 8th June 2021, of Mr John Purcell, Main Street, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his parents Matt and Peg, sister Ella, brother Phil (Buddy) and brother-in-law John; Mr Purcell passed away suddenly at his place of residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his sisters Esther (Batt) and Peggy (Roche), brothers Matt, Jim, Tom, Noel and Joseph, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Donal (Ryan, Nenagh) and Frank (Roche, Liberty Square, Thurles,), sisters-in-law Sandra, Carmel, Margaret, Pascale and Valerie, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The funeral cortège, bearing the earthly remains of Mr Purcell, will leave Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday morning next, June 11th, at 10:00am, to be received into the Church of St. Kevin, Littleton, Thurles, at 11:00am (travelling via Pouldine and Ballymoreen), to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Interment will follow immediately afterwards in Ballymoreen Cemetery.
[NB: Due to National Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending (limited to 50 mourners), will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
