It was with the greatest personal sadness and deepest regret that I learned of the death, yesterday Friday 21st May 2021, of Mr PJ Spain, Bishopscourt, Straffan, Co. Kildare and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his brother Neil and sister Nora; Mr Spain passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary (née D’Arcy), sons Robbie and Tony, brothers Gerry, Kevin and Sean, sister Kathleen, daughters-in-law Marie and Claire, grandchildren, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
Requiescat in Pace.
Funeral Arrangements.
The funeral cortège, bearing the earthly remains of Mr Spain will depart from his home on Monday morning, May 24th, at 10:00am, to be received into the Church of St. Anne, Wheatfield Upper, Ardclough, Co. Kildare, to repose for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in Straffan cemetery.
And the night wind whispered, “Life will never be the same again”.
