It was with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 18th April 2021, of Mr Pat O’Donnell, Ardeen Nursing Home, Abbey Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of ‘St. Paul’s’, Monadreen, Thurles Co. Tipperary and Rosslare, Co Wexford.
Predeceased by his wife Noreen (née O’Donovan, Newcastlewest, Co Limerick), his parents Thomas and Eileen and brother Martin; Mr O’Donnell passed away while in the care of staff at Ardeen Nursing Home, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his brothers Derry, Noel and Michael, sisters Noreen and Carrie, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, the Ardeen Nursing Home community, extended relatives, former neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The funeral cortège, bearing the earthly remains of Mr O’Donnell will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Wednesday morning, April 21st, at 10.30am, to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co, Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr O’Donnell, but are unable to do so, due to current coronavirus pandemic restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.
