It is with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death, today Friday 9th April 2021, of Sr. Dolores Whelan, Presentation Convent, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Sylane, Tuam, Co. Galway.
Pre-deceased by her sister, Sr. Martina Religious Sisters of Mercy (R.S.M.), her brothers, John, Tommy and Fr. Paddy Society Of African Missions (S.M.A.); Sr. Dolores passed away while in the loving care of her Community Sisters.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her Presentation Community and Congregation, her sister-in-law, Marie (Dundalk), nieces and nephews, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Sr. Dolores will repose for Requiem Mass on Sunday morning next, April 11th, at 11:00am, in the Presentation Convent Chapel, Cathedral Street, Thurles.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
