It is with the greatest personal sadness and deepest regret, that I learned of the death today, Tuesday 26th January 2021, of Mrs Kathleen Sheedy (née Egan), Turtulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
A lady of immense generosity and talent; Mrs Sheedy passed away peacefully following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Nenagh General Hospital, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her loving brothers Nikki, Philly, Paddy and her dear sister Nancy; her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving husband Tom, siblings Catherine, John, Marita and Majella; cherished grandchildren Christopher, Nichola, Jessica and Rachel, great-grandchildren Samuel and Orlagh, sons-in-law Valentine, Pat and Brendan, daughter-in-law Helen, brother Johnny (Kickham Street), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives and friends.
Requiescat in Pace.
Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Sheedy will repose for Requiem Mass on Friday morning next, January 29th, at 11:00am, in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, attended by family members only.
Mass will be followed immediately afterwards by interment in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Sheedy, but are unable to do so, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
Her family would earnestly request that over the coming days, those who knew Mrs Sheedy, would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in her memory.
