Five new killer Covid-19 virus cases in Tipperary today.
The Department of Health have confirmed this evening that there have sadly been 1 death caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll, here in the Republic of Ireland, remaining at 2,124.
There are 429 new additional virus cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 76,185.
There are 193 coronavirus patients in hospitals, with 31 cases being treated in intensive care units, across the Republic.
Of today’s cases; 122 cases are in Dublin; 46 in Donegal; 30 in Limerick; 22 in Laois; 20 in Cork; with the remaining 189 cases located across all other counties.
Data last updated for Co. Tipperary, as of Sunday, December 13th 2020, shows there have been 1,620 cases todate, 5 more than recorded yesterday.
The Government has received a plan for how the Covid-19 vaccine will be rolled out across the country, and same is expected to be unveiled on Tuesday next, after it has been considered fully by Cabinet.
Total global cases up to 5.30pm this evening, now stand at almost 72 million with global deaths at almost 1.61 million.
