The Department of Health have confirmed this evening that there have sadly been 3 deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll, here in the Republic of Ireland, remaining at 2,123.
There are 248 new additional virus cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 75,756.
There are 185 coronavirus patients in hospitals, with 31 cases being treated in intensive care units, across the Republic.
The Government has received a plan for how the Covid-19 vaccine will be rolled out across the country, and same is expected to be unveiled on Tuesday next, after it has been considered fully by Cabinet.
A further 9 people have sadly died from Covid-19 in Northern Ireland, taking the death toll there to 1,120. There were 476 additional cases of the virus also reported, bringing there cumulative total to 57,733.
Data relevant up to Saturday, December 12th, 2020, shows there have been 1615 confirmed killer Covid-19 virus cases identified to date in Co. Tipperary.
Total global cases up to 5.30pm this evening, now stand at well over 71.3 million with global deaths over 1.6 million.
