Death Of Mary Byrne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 28th November 2020, of Mrs Mary Byrne (née Williams), Foilnacanna, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her husband Gerry (Sunday 18th October 2020), her daughter Kathleen, and sisters Lola (McCarthy) and Una (McGuiness); Mrs Byrne passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at St. Theresa’s Nursing Home, Lognafulla, Dublin Road, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughters Eileen, Mary Kate and Margaret; son Paddy; brother Paddy; sisters Claire (Kelly) and Rosario (Cullinan); grandchildren Nathan, Gerry, Andrew, Patrick and Mary; sons-in-law Chris (Killane) and Michael (Hanly); brothers-in-law; sister-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Byrne will repose tomorrow evening, Monday November 30th, at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon, Thurles from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for family and friends, with strict adherence to social distancing, face coverings and no shaking of hands.
Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday in the Church of St. Patrick, Kilcommon, Thurles, at 12:00 noon, followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare.

Note: Due to National Public Health Guidelines regarding Covid-19 virus restrictions; attendance within the Church building will be limited to 25 persons only, with strict adherence to social distancing and face covering please.]

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Byrne, but are unable to do so, due to coronavirus restrictions, same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
