It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 5th November 2020, of Sr. Mary Ryan, St. Leo`s Convent of Mercy, Carlow Town, Carlow, and formerly of Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary.
Sr. Mary passed away while in the loving care of Borris Lodge, Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her brothers Fr. Martin, John and recently by Philip (Oct 21st); her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving Sisters of Mercy Religious Community; her loving brothers Dan and Tom; sisters Anna and Josephine; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; grand-nephews; grand-nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
A private funeral Mass will be celebrated for family members and the Mercy Religious Community.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the Requiem Mass for Sr. Mary, but are unable to do so, due to coronavirus restrictions, same funeral service can be viewed online on the Carlow Cathedral parish webcam HERE, at 12.30pm on Sunday afternoon next, November 8th. Interment will follow immediately afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
