10 new killer Covid-19 virus cases confirmed in Tipperary

The Department of Health have confirmed this evening that there have been zero further deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,882.

There are 1025 new additional cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 57,128.

Of this evening’s confirmed cases; 10 are in Co. Tipperary (1,073 cases to date, per RTE summary); 255 in Dublin; 147 in Cork; 77 in Galway; 54 in Kildare; 53 in Donegal; with the remaining 429 cases located across 20 remaining counties.

Other Covid-19 related news.

Currently, there were 315 confirmed cases of Covid-19 nationally in our State’s hospitals and 38 of these patients are in intensive care units.

There were 896 new cases in Northern Ireland bringing their total number of confirmed cases to 34,105, with sadly 8 further deaths from Covid-19 virus in the past 24 hours. Their death toll now stands at 653.

Total global cases this evening now stand at almost 43 million [42,829,950] with global deaths well over 1.15 million [1,152,054].
