It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 21st October 2020, of Sr. Imelda Stakelum, St. Joseph’s Convent of Mercy, Leighsbrook, Navan, Co. Meath and late of Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Sr. Imelda passed away peacefully surrounded by her Community at St. Joseph’s Convent.
Her passing is most deeply regretted her nephews; nieces; grandnieces; grandnephews; great-grandniece; great-grandnephew; extended relatives; her Community at St. Joseph’s and the Sisters of Mercy, Northern Province, and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Sr. Imelda will repose for Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 10.30am in St. Mary’s Church, Navan, Co. Meath, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
[Note: Due to national Public Health Guidelines regarding coronavirus restrictions; attendance within the Church building will be limited to 25 people only, with strict adherence to social distancing and face covering please.]
