It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Wednesday 7th October 2020, of Mr Michael Johnston, Attirory, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, and late of Portmarnock, Co. Dublin and Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Johnston passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Abbeyhaven Nursing Home, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, following a short illness.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his beloved wife Mary; daughter’s Louise, Michelle and Rachel; son Peter; sisters and brothers; nieces; nephews; grandchildren; sons-in-law Pete, Brendan and Kevin; daughter-in-law Tara; extended relatives; neighbours and a large circle of friends

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Johnston will repose for Requiem Mass on Friday, October 9th at 12:00 noon in St.Mary’s Church, Main Street, Carrick-On-Shannon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Mary’s cemetery.
In compliance with current HSE and Government guidelines on public gatherings, the many persons who would have liked to attend Requiem Mass for Mr Johnston, but are unable to do so due to COVID-19 virus restrictions, can view the Church service online HERE.
