It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 29th September 2020, of Mr Thomas Maher, Cormackstown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Maher passed away suddenly, at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his devoted wife Ellie; daughters Jean (Barry), Marie (Kinane), and Margaret (Harte); sons Kevin and Thomás; grandchildren Colm, Paudie, Hannah, Sarah, Grace, Tommy, Jack and James; sons-in-law Joe, Jim and Ger; daughters-in-law Catherine and Caroline; brother Noel; nephews; nieces; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; extended relatives; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Maher will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on tomorrow evening Friday October 2nd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, (with strict adherence to social distancing and face coverings).
Arriving at Holycross Abbey, Holycross, Thurles on Saturday afternoon, October 3rd, for Requiem Mass at 4.30pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
[Note: Due to government restrictions numbers are limited to 50 persons within the Abbey church building.]
