Death Of Margaret Cooney, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Friday 11th September 2020, of Mrs Margaret (Baba) Cooney (née O’Connor), No.5 St Bridget’s Terrace, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her husband Phil, Mrs Cooney passed away peacefully, at her place of residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sons Andy and Noel; daughters Alice, Kay, Marie and Elizabeth; sister Marie; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law Kathryn and Patricia; sons-in-law Seamus and John; nephews; nieces; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

[As per Covid-19 directives, please comply with government guidelines regarding public gatherings, social distancing and face coverings.]
The earthly remains of Mrs Cooney will repose at her residence on Sunday 13th September, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for family, neighbours and friends.
Arriving at St. Kevin’s Church, Littleton, Thurles, on Monday September 14th for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
[Due to government restrictions numbers are limited to 50 persons in the Church building.]
