Yesterday, Cahir Gardaí arrested a man and seized an estimated €35,000 worth of controlled drugs from a property in Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
On Friday 4th September, Gardaí from Cahir District Drug unit executed a search warrant on a residential property in Cashel, south Co. Tipperary.
During the course of the search, Gardaí discovered €32,000 worth of cannabis (pending analysis); a quantity of cannabis herb and cocaine.
Drug paraphernalia including heat lamps as well as three stun guns, were also seized during this operation.
A man understood to be in his 30’s was arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and held at Cahir Garda Station.
He has since been charged to appear in Court.
