It was with great sadness we learned of the death, on Wednesday 29th July 2020, of Mrs Joan Johnstone (née Crouchen and formerly Hughes), Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary; Templemore, Co. Tipperary and Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
Mrs Johnstone passed away peacefully, in her 100th year, while in the care of staff at Glengara Park Nursing Home, Glenageary Road Lower, Glasthule, Co. Dublin.
Predeceased by her husbands Rev. Harden Johnstone (Former highly respected protestant Rector of Thurles); Thomas Hughes and her son Wyndham Hughes; her passing is most deeply regretted by her sister Betty; nieces; nephews; extended relatives and a wide circle of friends.
