Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, following a collision which involved two motorcycles and a tractor here in South Co. Tipperary.
Tragically one motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was seriously injured following the collision, which occurred at around 5:00pm yesterday on the N74 at Moatequarter, Kilfeacle.
The dead man’s body was removed to University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
A second motorcyclist, understood to be in his 30’s, was seriously injured and is being treated for his injuries at University Hospital Limerick.
The male 21-year-old driver of the tractor thankfully was not injured.
Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses, particularly any motorists who may have travelling on the N74 between Tipperary town and Cashel on yesterday afternoon and who may have dash cam footage.
