It was with sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 12th July 2020, of Mrs Rita Shiels (née Cahill), Dooneen Road, Woodview Park, Limerick City, Co. Limerick and formerly of Shyan Terrace, Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Shiels passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her sister Carmel (Maher) and brother Dick Cahill; her passing is most deeply regretted by her husband Jimmy, children Aedín, Conor and Fiona (Keating); grandchildren Aisling, Aoife and Colin; daughter-in-law Eileen; son-in-law Niall; sister Mary (Buckley, Thurles); brother Matt (London); sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; extended relatives; neighbours and friends (especially Maura and Mary).

Funeral Arrangements.
In line with best practice taken following government and HSE advice regarding public gatherings, a private Requiem Mass for family and close friends will take place on Wednesday, July 15th 2020, at 11.30am in the Church of Christ the King, Caherdavin, Co. Limerick, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery.
