The total number of Covid-19 virus cases that have been confirmed here in Co. Tipperary; as of midnight on Friday, May 15th last, this evening has been recorded as 523, an apparent increase of 7 recorded new cases, within 48 hours.
The Department of Health has confirmed, this evening, that a further 10 people have tragically died from the virus, here in the Republic of Ireland, over the past 24 hours. These latest figures bring the total number of deaths from this pandemic nationally, sadly to 1,543.
This evening, it has also been confirmed that an additional 64 new cases of coronavirus have been identified nationally, bringing the total since conception to 24,112.
Today is the second time since mid-March that the number of new confirmed cases has fallen nationally below the figure of 100.
Let us all NOT now become complacent and go backwards.
